We usually define it as "yet another media player", in fact JD Player is just a simple audio and video player, but it's an important project for the Jecko Development group.
JD Player is media player that requires and uses the Microsoft DirectX libraries, that all included in all Microsoft Windows operating systems and needs also some libraries included into the Microsoft .NET Framework.
The software can play audio file in Wave, Mp3 and Windows Media Audio file formats, and video in Windows Media Video, AVI and MPEG file formats.
It has a nice and lightweight user interface that follows the Microsoft Office Fluent GUI style, with a toolbar at the top that allows user to reach some important commands.
JD Player manages files into playlists, that can be saved and reloaded automatically at the next software opening. This function can be also automatic. JD Player uses a simple and automatically managed database, it also supports file tagging functions.
JD Player is freely distributed as the other software of the Jecko Development group.
It's available only in Italian.
